random nothings and likings of my own taste

Hi all,

Just finished with my lab, boy that was long! looking at slides of the stomach, intestines, esophagus... and the list continues can be quite daunting. anyways, i was doing this fun quiz about Jane Austin to find what character I am most like. I got elizabeth bennet. while i am not sure this is all to accurate or not, i enjoyed the quiz. here is a link to the website. enjoy. I always enjoyed Victorian era. I love the fashion and the poise.

anyways, enough about books. As a blog goes, i am not really sure what to write about.I am not a big blogger and sometimes just get lazy. that being said, i guess i can share 10 interesting fact about me :)

1. I like raccoons

2. I play the oboe and have been playing since i was 13 years old and still love playing it. i am playing it for my school's orchestra and wind ensemble!

3. English is not my first language. haha it might sound weird, but yeah it isn't. though i do not have an accent or anything. i learned to speak a local dialect in China

4. I have been dating my boyfriend for almost 4 years and am so blessed to have him!

5. my favorite hobby is to read. i could read all day. if i was paid to read, i would drop everything and do that for the rest of my life :)

6. I am a strong Christian (though at times i don't feel so strong) trying to actively follow God.

7. I am a double major: in Psychology and Nursing. I hope to work with Children who suffer from cancer. if not that, i would love to work in the ER (emergency room) or the ICU (intensive care unit)

Hey all, i haven't really been going online for blogging much, so terribly sorry.

I wanted to let you all know that I am going to be doing a double major in Psychology and Nursing:) I am excited about getting to do some research on the different disorders and such for psychology, as well as adding the touches of being a nurse.

a.       Hi, my name is Anna. I am a sophomore/ junior in college double majoring in Psychology and Nursing. My dream is to become a Pediactiric nurse taking care of children who have cancer. I also would love to have my own family. I absolutely love my family and enjoy spending time with friends and getting to know new people. I am a little new to the blogging world and many times am not the most successful at blogging. Random tidbit about me: my favorite animal is the raccoon. I am not sure why, but I have always fancied raccoons J

1.      A true heroine isn’t afraid to stick up for what is right. She is strong in a sense that she will stay true to herself and stay true to her beliefs.

1.      My favorite character would be Jo March from little women. She is similar to me and is the type of character that draws you in. sometimes you feel like she is making terrible mistakes, other times you want to feel bad for her.

1.      Secondary character: Fagan from Oliver twist. He is such an interesting sort. He screams out to you as someone who would be really interesting to meet in person J

1.      Dream vacation: go backpacking through Europe
  1. What is your favorite time period and culture to read about? 
1.      Oh my, my favorite time period is the 1400’s I love that era for fashion and for all the diseases and for just the lifestyle. Culturally: I love reading about the Amish.

1.      Act: probably singing while playing the piano. I would also see if my boyfriend would play his cello so we could do duets togetherJ

a.       I would want to be like Jo March.

1.      For the most part, I avoid chocolate… since I am lactose intolerant, but I will eat it if I am having a tough day. I think chocolate is actually a little too sweet for my taste though. I much rather have Chinese cake or sorbet.

Playing music (piano, oboe…etc) read books J relax, watch medical surgeries online… XD

a.       Dream hat: something simple and vintage like a 20’sstyle hat, but with a pop of color and adventure in it. not too gaudy, but just enough pop to scream out that I love something new.

a.       My brother getting married. This has been a huge change
